  Nancy J. Welsh, 66, of 549 Smithfield Ave., Kane, died Sunday afternoon, May 23, 2010 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she was a recent resident.
Born Nov. 12, 1943, in Kane, she was the daughter of Robert and Leona McArthur Swanson.
Ms. Welsh was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kane, where she taught Sunday School and was a nursery worker.
Surviving are her daughter, Marcia Whitmore of Bradford; her companion of over 30 years, Frank Sacherich of Kane; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Shirley Butters, and brothers Vernon, Donald, Lawrence and James Swanson.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m., at which time a service will be held there with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the Mt. Jewett / Hazel Hurst United Methodist Churches, officiating.
