Norma Jean Fleming

  Norma Jean Fleming, 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 20, 2010, under the loving care of her family and Hospice Of Marion County. She was born Oct. 9, 1923 in Warren, Ohio, to John and Katharine Hickey. She moved to Ocala in 2000 after retiring from her position as bookkeeper for the law firm of Woods and Baker in Kane. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward N. Fleming of Kane. She is survived by two brothers: Daitzel Hickey of Southington, Ohio, and David Hickey of Kane; four daughters, Sharon J. Fleming of Albuquerque N.M., Marcia Yeager of Orange Springs, Fla., and her husband Gary, Diane E. Fleming of Ocala, Fla., and Tamara A. Conroy of Pocono Mountains, and her companion Lenny Tokash; sister-in-law Helen Martin of Sarver; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Wyomina Baptist Church in Ocala and the Foxy Ladies Social Organization as well as Senior Friends. In lieu of flowers, she requested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County, P O Box 4860, Ocala FL 34474  or to the Roswell Cancer Institute c/o Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P O Box 631, Buffalo N.Y. 14240.
