Allen L. Bures

  Allen L. Bures, 58, of 126 Second Street, Utica, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.
Born May 15, 1952, he was the son of the late John and Avanella Bauer Bures.
Mr. Bures was a 1970 graduate of Kane High School. He attended worship services at The Caring Place in Franklin; and he enjoyed hunting and watching football.
Mr. Bures was employed in the Maintenance Department at The Caring Place in Franklin. He previously had been employed by Polk Center.
He was married Aug. 25, 1973 to the former Barbara J. Sears, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bures is survived by his three sons, Christopher Allen Bures and his wife, Lynn, of Covington, Georgia; Donald Joseph Bures of Covington, Georgia; and Eric Michael Bures of Utica. He is also survived by his two step-grandchildren, Austin Robert Tabor and Zachary Allen Hudson, both of Covington, Georgia; and his sister, Margaret Benson and her husband, Terry, of Franklin.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 24 from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Caring Place, 103 N. 13th Street, Franklin. Funeral Services for Mr. Bures will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Caring Place, with Linda Deeter, Chaplain of The Caring Place, presiding. Interment will follow in Lamey Cemetery.
The Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Caring Place, 103 N. 13th Street, Franklin, PA 16323.
