Joseph E. Peterson, 58 of 804 Welsh St. Kane passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in East Smethport.
Born Dec. 15, 1952 in Kane, he was a son of Chester F. and Frances D. McCauley Peterson.
Mr. Peterson had been employed as an equipment operator and was employed by Duffy’s in East Smethport. He had served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany.
He was a member Tabor Lutheran Church, member and past president of the Eagles Club of Kane, Kane Fish and Game Club and the National Rifle Association.

Lloyd H. Nonnenberg, age 68, of Ludlow, formerly of Heidelberg, on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011. He was the husband of Kay (Grittie) Nonnenberg, son of the late Homer and Jean (Alexander) Nonnenberg, step-father of Scott Fobes and brother of the late Ronald Nonnenberg. He is also survived by Marsha Flaherty. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Leo J. Henney Funeral Home, 323 Second Ave., Carnegie where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Family suggest contributions to American Cancer Society, 2201 SE 30th Ave Ste 301, Ocala, FL 34471.
