Wolves improve to 3-1 with win over Sheffield

The Kane Lady Wolves again used a balance scoring attack to lift them to a win over Sheffield.
Audrey Perry again got off to a hot start as she hit for eight big points in the first quarter to lift the team’s intensity.
All 11 players that got in the game scored for the Lady Wolves.
Perry led the scoring with 10 points followed by Angie Geer with eight while Drew Victory, Kaila Jamerson and Taylor Bucheit each chipped in with six each.

Irvin D. ”Cutter” Strawcutter

Irvin D. ”Cutter” Strawcutter of 4258 Niles Hill Rd., Wellsville, N.Y. passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Cuba Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
Mr. Strawcutter was born Nov. 28, 1935 in Brookville, Pa., the son of Ray Edward and Evelyn McManigle Strawcutter. On March 8, 2009 in Cuba, N.Y., he married the former Sharon Lounsberry who survives.
Cutter was a graduate of Kane High School, class of 1955. After graduation he served in the Army as a Ranger for two years. He then worked for National Fuel Gas as a Field Supervisor in the Regulator Dept. for 35 years retiring in 1997.
