Madeline Elizabeth (Moran) Hazlett, 80, beloved wife of Wendell Hazlett, died July 19, 2011, at her home in Leesburg, Va. She had been ill for quite some time.
She was born July 21, 1930, at James City, the fifth of nine children of Martin and Nina Moran. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Margaret (Bob) Sproull, Helen Ahlers, Mabel Scruton; and one brother, Sam (Carol) Moran. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Jane Nash McDermott, 91, of 115 Edgar James St., Kane, passed away July 21, 2011 at her residence. Jane was born in Bradford, the daughter of former attorney Francis M. and Marie E. Nash on Sept. 5, 1919. On April 23, 1949 she married Edward T. McDermott of Kane.Â
