DUKE CENTER – The Kane Lady Wolves closed out the season with the junior varsity and varsity winning their respective tournament championships.
The Lady Wolves secured their fourth straight Christmas Tournament with a dominating 69-31 win over home-standing Otto-Eldred.
“It was a good team win,” said Kane head coach Dave Kiehl.
All 11 girls played in the game while nine where able to get in the scoring column.
We are now into a new year. 2011 turned out to be a very good year for me photography wise. At the beginning of the year, I had no idea what to photograph, and with the long winter we were having, I was afraid I would miss some great winter shots. There were great opportunities out there, but most of my favorite places were snowed in, or I just didn’t feel like hiking into the woods with snow up to my waist. I know what you’re thinking! A true die hard photographer wouldn’t give it a second thought, trudging through the deep snow to get that perfect shot.
