The Board of Directors of the Kane Chamber of Commerce has chosen the late Jim Salvamoser as its "Citizen-of-the-Year" for 2011.
The Chamber also has named the Kane Eagles Club as the local "Business-of-the-Year."
Recipients will be honored at a dinner scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Kane Country Club.
The event is slated to begin with cocktails at 5 p.m. and the ceremony at 6 p.m. Tickets for the event are now available at the Kane Chamber of Commerce Office, 54 Fraley St.
The following criminal cases have been filed in Kane District Court.

*Randy Haight, 21, of 13 W. Main St., Ludlow, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Kane Borough Police Chief Brian Hillard filed the charges after Haightâs 2-year-old daughter allegedly wandered from his former residence along Poplar Street in Kane while Haight was asleep.
A female motorist told police that she nearly struck the child, who reportedly was in the âmiddle of the roadâ at Poplar Street and Tionesta Avenue.
