Despite woes, college forestry programs survive

Despite constraints, it appears that Penn State and the State University of New York (SUNY) will continue to offer forest management programs.

Plenty volunteer to donate at Blood Drive in Kane

There was a large amount of volunteers donating blood on Monday at the American Red Cross Bloodmobile stop in Kane.

Johanna Good

Johanna Good, daughter of Kyle and Lorene Bowman Good of 498 Campbelltown Rd., died at birth at Warren General Hospital.
Johanna is survived, in addition to her parents, by two sisters, Taylor Good and Kristen Good at home; her maternal grandparents, James and Lois Bowman; and her paternal grandparents, Clair and Geraldine Good.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family  with Pastor Glen Newswanger of the Bradford Mennonite Church, officiating.  Burial will be at Bridgeview Cemetery.
The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
