CLARION – For the second straight week, the Wolves jumped out to an early 14-0 lead. For the second straight week, Kane’s opponent rallied to go ahead late in the fourth quarter. For the second straight week, the Wolves offense methodically marched down the field to score the go-ahead touchdown late in the game.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Kane has donated $2,000 to the Friends’ Memorial Public Library in Kane. Joan L. Swanson, 70, of 633 Wood St., Kane, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent's Medical Health Center on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.
Born Feb. 24, 1942, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Edla Gustafson Carlson. On April 25, 1964, in Kane, she married Ronald Swanson, who survives.
Mrs. Swanson was primarily a homemaker but in the past had been employed by New Process in Warren and Walker Printing in Kane. She was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church where she once had taken care of the Sunday School nursery.
Terry Snyder, 62, of 307 Maple St. died Sunday, Nov. 11, of an accidental drowning at the Kinzua Reservoir.
She was born in Rochester, Minn. on Nov. 17, 1949 to Frank White and the late Joanne Fitzpatrick. She married Mike Snyder in Rochester on Nov. 12, 1999, and worked with him as a roofing contractor in the Kane area.
