Kane Wolves drop dual meet to Smethport Hubbers in Wolves’ Den

The Smethport Hubbers defeated the Kane Wolves’ wrestling team 39-28 in dual meet action in the Wolves’ Den on Tuesday night. The Hubbers won seven matches on the mat and received a forfeit at heavyweight to earn the win against the Wolves.

Donna Mae Guiffrida, 79, of 28 Long Alley, Ridgway, and formerly of Wilcox, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, 2012 at Kane Community Hospital in Kane following a short illness.
She was born July 1, 1933 in Kane, daughter of the late Paul A. and Kathryn Weidert Dickinson.
She resided in Wilcox most of her life. She had lived a short time in Jamestown, N.Y.
She graduated from Wilcox High School in 1951 and from Jamestown Business College.
She was a member of St. Anne Church in Wilcox. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
