The Smethport Hubbers used 30 points by Zach Smith to help propel them to a 63-44 win over Kane in the Wolvesâ Den on Monday night. Smith, a preseason D9 All-Star, lived up to the billing as the Smethport senior scored on drives to the hoop, on offensive rebounds under the basket and nailed a few threes to complete his second consecutive 30-point night.

The Elk County Catholic Crusader basketball team picked up their first victory of the season in front of a home crowd on Friday night as they defeated the Kane Wolves 66-48 at the ECCHS gymnasium.
The Crusaders led 16-11 at the end of the first quarter, 32-23 at the half, and 48-31 at the end of the third quarter.

The Kane Wolvesâ boys basketball team opened the regular season on Wednesday night in the Wolvesâ Den against the Sheffield Wolverines. Coach Brian Wymerâs Wolves were dialing long distance all night, as they converted nine three-point baskets to help them on their way to a 63-50 win.
