Michela E. Carlson, 85, of 6 East Sycamore Place, Lewisburg, formerly of Kane, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Riverwoods Nursing Home in Lewisburg.
Born April 13, 1927, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Rose Montour Bonadio. On Sept. 14, 1948, in Kane, she married Carl "Bob" Carlson who survives.
Mrs. Carlson, a 1944 graduate of Kane High School, was employed as a dental assistant until retirement in 1974.
December 2nd
Persons are violating Kane borough ordinances by illegally dumping furniture, carpeting and other junk at the site of the trash recycling bins at Glenwood Park on Hacker Street.
Rodger, a basset hound owned by Cindy and Joe Parker, stopped by to visit the McKean County SPCA tree at Friends’ Memorial Public Library to drop off his donation. The public is invited to select an ornament from the tree. Each ornament has a picture of dogs and cats available for adoption, and suggestions for donation items for the SPCA.
