Stanley “Beck” Debevec was led to heaven by his angel at 10:51a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Along with his immediate family, Beth and her staff at Somerset/Snug Harbor, Tavares, Fla. cared for and loved him the last four years of his life.

On a beautiful day for baseball, the visitors from Curwensville wasted no time getting in the scoring column as the first two batters reached base courtesy of a walk and a single. Pitcher Jeff Kocjancic then looked like they were going to get out of the jam as he retired the next two batters, but, Kyle Johns came up with a big single and two runs batted in.Â
