State Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren) will speak Monday at the annual Memorial Day program in Kane.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and American Legion posts in Kane are sponsoring the Memorial Day activities, which features a parade at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
The parade forms at 9 a.m. on Wetmore Avenue and proceeds south on Fraley Street to the “point†area of Evergreen Park at Chestnut, Birch and Fraley streets.
"I'm always honored to be asked to speak to honor our veterans for all their sacrifices," Rapp said Friday.
