The Kane girlsâ soccer team played some very good soccer during Wednesdayâs contest against Smethport.
Unfortunately, they did not play consistently good soccer for long periods of time during the game, and wound up on the losing end of a 5-3 score.
The Lady Wolves started out strong, with the bulk of the early action taking place in front of the Smethport goal. Taylor Bucheit got Kaneâs first decent scoring opportunity when Shyanne Todd cleared a ball nearly the length of the field and Bucheit caught up with it before the goalie could make a stop.
