For a wildlife photographer, the late summer is not too exciting. The wildlife sightings I enjoyed during the springtime are no longer with us. The fox have moved from their dens, bear cubs are quite larger than the little teddy bears  they were in the spring. The beautiful breeding colors of the spring birds are all but gone. It is a challenge for most nature photographers at this time of year to get that perfect shot. To make matters worse, the leaves will not change for almost a month, late September to early October.
