Kane Cheer Boosters help create Haunted House

Supporters of the Kane Cheer Boosters have been busy decorating the basement of the Kane Eagles Club in preparation for their Haunted House fundraiser. The Kane High Cheerleaders will be traveling to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in March to participate in a national competition and has begun fundraising to pay for the trip.

Wolves soccer team drops senior night game to Golden Tide

The Kane boys’ soccer team lost to the Curwensville Golden Tide by a 5-1 score on Tuesday in Kane. The Wolves honored four seniors, Riley Austin, Kaleb Pierotti, Tyler West and Yerken Kashkov at halftime.

Douglas had high level of drug in bloodstream

An affidavit of probable cause filed in Magisterial District Court 48-3-04 shows Kathleen S. Douglas, age 37, of North Tionesta Avenue, Kane, had "levels of the Schedule IV controlled substance Clonazepam (that) were several times greater than they should have been given the dosage prescribed" when she was involved in a fatal crash that killed six people.
