Every Fall the Depot in Kane hosts an evening reception on the first Friday of the month.
On Friday, Nov. 1 from 6-8 p.m., wildlife photographer Rocky Holland will be the featured artist and the âCoyote Moonâ duo of Denise Drummond and George Stephan will provide music for the evening.
Fraley Street was congested for the better part of an hour on Monday morning due to a traffic accident. A Verizon van and an out-of-state automobile were involved in a minor crash near the intersection of Field Street.
James J. Marconi, 85, formerly of Hemlock Avenue in Kane, died early Monday morning, Oct. 28, 2013 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where he was a resident.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend aÂ Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane.
