MT. JEWETT â€“ The Mt. Jewett Borough Council plans to "explore" a possible sale of the borough water system to a private company.
SMETHPORT â€“ A change in a budget for federal funding is expected to help the borough of Kane complete renovations at Evergreen Park.
The Lady Wolves played 80 solid minutes of soccer on Monday on their way to posting an impressive 2-1 victory over the visiting Brockway Lady Rovers. The Kane offense dominated the action early, controlling the ball for most of the early going.
Walter J. Nalducci Jr., 74, of 510 Janeway St., died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at his residence.
Born Dec. 2, 1938, in Bayonne, N.J., he was a son of the late Walter and Florence Bevilacqua Nalducci.Â On Sept. 8, 1962, at St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, he married Anne Varisano who survives.
Mr. Nalducci served in the U.S. Air ForceÂ and saw duty stateside and in Guam.Â He attended St. Peter's College in Jersey City, N.J. and retired as the postmaster of the Kane Post Office.
