Kenneth A. McCauley Jr., 65, of 130 Greeves St., died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at his residence.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane.

The Kane Wolves welcomed a new opponent to Paul R Miller Stadium on Friday night when they took on St. Josephâ€™s Catholic Academy from Boalsburg, just outside of State College. St. Joeâ€™s is also nicknamed the Wolves, but the Wolves from McKean County showed their counterparts from central Pennsylvania who was top dog during Kaneâ€™s 50-14 win.
A police criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause were filed Friday charging Kathleen S. Douglas, age 37, with multiple felony counts and related charges stemming from an Aug. 31 two-vehicle crash that killed six people on state Route 219 in Hamlin Township.

Victoria Ann Parrish, Â 57, of Â 11 Maple Ln., Mt. Jewett, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2013 at her residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Cummings Funeral Home.
Virginia Turay, 87, of 130 Greeves St., died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born March 31, 1926, in Ludlow, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Marchark Turay.
Virginia lived in Ludlow before moving to Kane in 1993. She was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and belonged to the former Altar Rosary Society. She was employed at Stackpole Carbon prior to her retirement.
Survivors include a sister, Pauline Kaszyca of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
The Kane Area School Board held an executive session prior to Thursdayâ€™s regular monthly meeting to discuss three grievances filed by the Kane Area Education Association on behalf of a few of their members. Just prior to the end of the meeting, all three grievances were denied unanimously by the six board members in attendance.
BENEZETTE â€“ In an effort to promote tourism, Governor Tom Corbett visited the Elk Country Visitor Center on Thursday afternoon to highlight the Pennsylvania Wilds as a top destination for travelers as well as to mark the 100 years since elk were reintroduced into the region.
