School day to be extended for all students

The latest illegal drugs were discovered during a traffic stop in Kane earlier this month.

John D. "Jack" Maze

John D. "Jack" Maze, 77, of 449 Treasure Lake, DuBois, formerly of Richardson Ave., Lewis Run, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
Born April 23, 1936, in Kane, he was a son of the late Samuel E. and Geneva (Carlson) Maze.
On Nov. 30, 1963, at St. Francis Church he married Eleanor (Kopelack) Maze who survives him.

Pickleball coming to Kane

The game of Pickleball is coming to Kane. The sport that is all the rage in a number of spots around the world is spreading to Northwest Pennsylvania.

St. Marys Legion rallies past Kane 14-9

The St. Marys American Legion Post 103 baseball team got down 6-0 early to Kane in Wednesday evening's ballgame at Berwind Park, but was able to rally and come away with the 14-9 victory.
St. Marys initially struggled with pitching.
