According to Craig Timm, a media relations representative for Domtar, the fire broke out in the wood chip conveyor system.

Leona M. Roberts, 88, of 3 McClelland Ave., Mt. Jewett, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born June 1, 1925, in Duke Center, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sylvia Cornelius Buck.
Mrs. Roberts had been employed at Stackpole and had also worked at Sena-Kean Manor.Â She attended the United Methodist Church in Mt. Jewett.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Reinard of Hazel Hurst and Sylvia Slaugenhaupt of Mt. Jewett; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
