Henry P. Feikls, 89, of Kane, died Wednesday Sept. 25, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Kane, Pa., after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 3, 1924, in Erie, Pa., a son of the late Rudolph and Mary Mraz Feikls.

The Kane Wolves boys soccer team is still looking for their first win of the season but they are definitely improving as the season goes on. The Wolves opened their season with a 7-0 loss to the Smethport Hubbers on the road. Kane hosted the Hubs on Tuesday afternoon and did end up on the losing end of the score, 4-0, but Kane coach Ernie Chamberlain said he can see some things going right for the Wolves.

Kaneâ€™s defense held the Lady Hubs to only five shots on the day, while the offense clicked and had a number of quality scoring chances throughout the game.
