PUNXSUTAWNEY – It was an extra special winning moment for Quinn Luhr in the PIAA quarterfinal.
After keeping Johnsonburg baseball even with Bishop McCort, Luhr's RBI single in the bottom of the 11th helped the Rams to a 7-6, 11-inning victory over the Crushers Thursday at Rich Kuntz Memorial Field in Punxsutawney.

Florence V. Forquer, 88, a resident of Sena-Kean Manor, and formerly of Kushequa, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born June 15, 1924, in Kushequa, she was a daughter of William and Anna James Transue. On June 20, 1941, at Kushequa Union Church, she married Lester Forquer who preceded her in death.
