Charges against a Mt. Jewett couple for allegedly withholding food from their three adoptive children have been bound over to McKean County Court.
JOHNSONBURG â The man charged with murdering a Ridgway teen and dumping her body in a remote, swampy corner of an area park was in District Court Wednesday where a preliminary hearing saw charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and abuse of a corpse upheld against him.

The Kane Lady Wolves softball team had to wait nearly a month from the official start of the PIAAâs spring season to play their first game at home. Unfortunately for the home crowd, the game wasnât worth the wait. Although the weather was beautiful, the Lady Wolves played their worst game of the season and ended up losing to Brockway 14-0.

A Ridgway couple face drug charges following a traffic stop Monday afternoon on Route 321 near the entrance of Kane High School.
The Kane School Board's Finance and Operations Committee met Monday to review a proposed 2013-14 budget calling for a .35-mill increase in property taxes.

The Kane girlsâ track and field team had a fantastic day despite the lousy conditions on Saturday to win the title of the Kane Invitational. The Lady Wolves finished the day with 114 points, outdistancing Johnsonburg, who had 77.5 points, and Brookville, who took third with 72.
The Kane boysâ track and field team put together a great team effort to win Saturdayâs Kane Invitational team title with 81 points. Iroquois came in second with 67, followed by Port Allegany with 64.
After completing her first Boston Marathon, St. Marys resident Molly Quesenberry had a strong feeling that she wanted to see her family as soon as possible.
