The Kane Wolves wrestling team dug themselves a little bit of a hole to start out Tuesday nightâ€™s match in the Wolvesâ€™ Den against the Coudersport Falcons. The visitors jumped out to an early 19-0 lead before a couple of Kane forfeits and a pin by Nate Moore got the home team back on track and propelled them to a 41-31 win over the team from Potter County.

Janet Louise Duffy, 77, of Oak Street, Warren, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Warren General Hospital.
Mrs. Duffy was born Jan. 8, 1936, in Kane, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Sandberg Koza. Janet was a 1953 graduate of Kane Area High School.Â She then went on to work at Bell Telephone Company as a Switchboard Operator.Â Throughout the years, she was also employed as a teller at PNC Bank and a secretary for American General.Â For many years, she and her husband, "Bud", were the co-owners of Ideal Bakery.Â
CLARION COUNTY â€” Clarion-based Pennsylvania State Police have reported that a 19-year-old woman reported missing over the weekend was found deceased inside her vehicle â€”Â which she was last seen driving Friday evening â€” Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
PSP report that the victim, Devan C. Knapp of Brookville, was discovered in the vehicle along Summerville Drive in Millcreek Township, Clarion County, by a passerby. Members of PSP-Clarion and PSP-Punxsy reported to the scene.Â
The incident remains under open investigation, with an autopsy to be conducted at a date and time yet to be determined.
The body of missing Brookville teen Devan C. Knapp, 19, was reportedly located earlier this morning in Millcreek Township, Clarion County. A cause of death has not been announced and an autopsy will be performed. BRADFORD â€“ The Bradford Lady Owls defeated the Kane Lady Wolves on Monday night in a battle of 10-1 squads.
The Lady Wolves led the contest at the half by a score of 22-21 but the Lady Owls put together a solid second half on their home court.
A group known as the "Concerned Citizens of Kane" formed about a year ago after the borough council proposed a hefty property tax hike.
The tax increase was reduced, but dedicated members of the "citizens" group each month show up at council meetings to question spending and borough operations.
Beverly Mae Kirby Reigel, 70, of Elgin, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. Born in Erie, she was the daughter of Myles Kirby and Mildred Ishman.
She was formerly employed with Rice Creek Elementary School and was of Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Daniel Alvin Reigel Sr.; her children, Daniel A. Reigel Jr. (Sally), Sherry Branham, David Reigel (Iva), Susan Sims (Vince), Shelly Bagwell (Tony), Sandi Brassell (Marty), Sunny Boucher (John) and Donald Reigel (Melissa); 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.
The Kane Area High School gym was transformed into a circus on Saturday. Capacity crowds attended two shows to benefit the Kane High School Student Council. Â
Coming into Friday night's game, the focus was on Kane senior Kaila Jamerson surpassing the 1,000 point mark for her career.
