Test drive a Ford to benefit Kane Fire Department

The Kane Volunteer Fire Department has many fundraisers during the year to generate needed revenue for its operation.
The next benefit planned April 26 requires only a little time from Kane area residents—not money.

June E. Nichols, 92, formerly of DeYoung, died early Friday morning, April 11, 2014 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she resided for the past four years.
Born June 3, 1921 in Kane, she was the daughter of Raymond and Alma Anderson Sloan. On May 30, 1938 in Warren, she married William R. Nichols, who died in 1998.
Along with her husband, she owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Drive-in in DeYoung for many years.
