Kane officials to discuss problems with garbage

Kane borough officials are planning to meet to discuss ways to better address problems with garbage.
Mayor William "Yogi" Osmer said he and Police Officer-in-charge Heath Boyer plan to meet with Kane District Court Judge Dave Engman on the issue.

Another Rabies Clinic set

A rabies clinic was held last Saturday at the Kane Fire Hall by the McKean County SPCA. A total of 149 dogs and cats were vaccinated. For those who missed the event, the Bradford chapter of the SPCA will sponsor another Rabies Clinic on Saturday, April 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the animal shelter at 80 Glenwood Ave., Bradford. Pictured is Bilbo, a resident at the SPCA. He is great with dogs, cats and children. Bilbo, along with many others at the SPCA, would make a fine addition to home.
