Ruth C. Quist, 94, formerly of Mt. Jewett, died Friday morning, Feb. 13, 2015 at St. Martha's Manor in Downingtown.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Monday, Feb. 16 from 10:30 until 11 a.m., at which time a service will be held there with the rev. V. Theodore Benson, officiating.Â Interment will follow in Nebo Cemetery, Mt. Jewett.

Even the coaches of the District 9 champion high school football team are feeling the wrath of a penny-pinching Kane School Board.
By a 4-3 vote Thursday, the school board showed its frugality by rejecting a request to send Kane High Football Coach Todd Silfies and four assistants to an upcoming coaching clinic near Cleveland later this month.
Board President Claire Ann Buckley and board members John Ball, Keith Hastings and Scott Paul voted to deny the request.
The Kane Players' "dinner theatre" format is a rousing success.
The Players' production of "The Loathsome Lady" opened Thursday to a sellout crowd at the Thomas L. Kane Memorial Chapel on Chestnut Street.
Tonight's performance at 7 p.m. at the Chapel also is a sellout. Lynda Karger, a co-director of the six-scene play, said only two tickets remain for the final performance at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
WILCOX â€“ Two Wilcox residents died early Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of state Routes 219 and 321 in Wilcox, Jones Township.
According to a public information release report provided by the Ridgway-based state police, 81-year-old Vera Johnson of Wilcox was operating a 2004 Ford Escape along with a passenger, 92-year-old Rose Swanson, also from Wilcox.

Ridgway wrestling took advantage of seven forfeits to help take a 52-24 win over Kane Thursday night at Ridgway Area High School on Senior Night.
Of the seven matches wrestled, Kane won five on the mat.
The Kane Elks Hoop Shoot was held last Sunday at the Kane Middle School gym.
There were 20 participants overall, each shooting 25 foul shots.Â Â
Winners from each age division are advancing to the District Hoop Shoot on Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Warren Area High School.
If the Kane winner is not able to attend the district shoot, the second place winner has the opportunity to compete. If participants win at the district level, they will move forward to the Elks State Hoop Shoot held in State College March 7.
LAFAYETTE TOWNSHIP â€“ Excitement is building for the start of Sun Air commuter flights from the Bradford Regional Airport to the Pittsburgh airport.
Flights will begin Sunday, March 1. The inaugural flight is at 12:40 p.m.
Sun Air will offer four flights Monday through Friday from Bradford to Pittsburgh and from Pittsburgh to Bradford.Â
The Bradford departures are set for 6:40 a.m., 9:40 a.m., 12:40 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. Flights from Pittsburgh to Bradford are set for 8:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
There will be two flights to and from Pittsburgh on Saturday and Sunday.
