A ribbon-cutting took place today, Friday, Jan. 11, at Datus Technologies, 167 Fraley St. in Kane.Â
Kane school officials are concerned about the number of young students who post personal information on the Facebook social network on the internet.

Joseph "Cook" Kasaback, 83, of 4 North Hillside Ave., Ludlow, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born July, 1929, in Warren, he was a son ofÂ the late Anthony and Helen Antal Kasaback.Â On March 14, 1952, in Clarendon, he married Joyce Nystrom who survives.
Mr. Kasaback was employed for 40 years by Penelec as a chief hot stick lineman and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Jamestown SeeBees.Â He also played for NavyÂ in the Army-Navy Orange Bowl Game.
