Gary R. Bush, 59, of Smethport, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.
He was born Nov. 5, 1953 in Kane, a son of Ralph and June Thayer Bush.
On Aug. 9, 1975, in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Lewis Run, he married Marian M. Farrell, who survives.
Gary was a 1971 graduate of Kane High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He owned and operated Bush Trucking Co. in Smethport and was co-owner of the Smethport Drive-In with his wife, Marian.Â
BROCKWAY â€“ The Kane Wolves overcame a 17-point deficit in Friday nightâ€™s game in Brockway to win a battle of 3-0 teams. The Wolves trailed 31-14 early in the third quarter before the defense made some adjustments and the Kane offense took control of the game in the second half on their way to posting an improbable 35-31 win over the Rovers.
The Kane Borough Council will be facing several key issues when it meets Monday at 4 p.m. at the borough building.

Doris Lee Martin, 80, of 616 N. Fraley St., passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at her home.
Born Aug. 10, 1933, she was a daughter of Carl B. Hazzard and Goldie G. Strait. On Aug. 19, 1950, she married John C. Martin who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2007.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Martin worked at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Surviving are four children, Robert Martin of Waymart, Rebecca Ehrlinger of Greencastle, Randy Martin of Mt. Jewett and Roberta Fitch ofÂ Commerce City, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
LeRoy J. Neubert, 70, of 86 Worral St., Wilcox, died on the morning of Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born on Dec. 15, 1942 in Benzinger, son of the late LeRoy E. and Anne Danko Neubert.
He married Doris Stewart on May 3, 1973 in St. Callistus Church in Kane, who survives.
Leroy resided in Wilcox all his life. He was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School in 1960.

Susan Grolemund, a retired Kane teacher, has announced her intention to run as a write-in candidate for a seat on the nine-member Kane School Board.
She becomes the seventh candidate seeking four seats on the board in the Nov. 5 election.
The eight-member committee of the Bavarian Fall Fest have worked throughout the year in planning the 2013 festival.
The Kane Lady Wolves hosted the Johnsonburg Ramettes in volleyball action on Thursday night and survived a marathon, five-set match. The Lady Wolves took game one by a score of 25-22, lost the second by a score of 25-15, won the third 30-28, lost the fourth set 25-19, and won the fifth 17-15.
The Kane boysâ€™ soccer team finished off a tough week on Thursday afternoon with a 7-2 loss to the Port Allegany Gators. After losing 3-2 to Ridgway on Monday in double overtime and losing to St. Marys on Tuesday, the Wolves closed out their week on Thursday afternoon.
