Joseph "Cook" Kasaback, 83, of 4 North Hillside Ave., Ludlow, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born July, 1929, in Warren, he was a son ofÂ the late Anthony and Helen Antal Kasaback.Â On March 14, 1952, in Clarendon, he married Joyce Nystrom who survives.
Mr. Kasaback was employed for 40 years by Penelec as a chief hot stick lineman and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Jamestown SeeBees.Â He also played for NavyÂ in the Army-Navy Orange Bowl Game.

According to reports, there was an armed robbery at the CNB Bank located along Market Street in Johnsonburg earlier this afternoon. The actor is believed to be a white male of unknown age who is allegedly wearing a gray hoodie, ski mask, and a red bandanna across his face. He is also believed to have a black handgun in his possession and was last seen traveling on foot along the "Avenues" headed towards Bendigo Road.
