Since October is âBreast Cancer Awareness Month,â Kane Community Hospital is busier than ever in administering mammogramsâa potential life-saving medical test for women.
âThe mammogram is recognized as the best screening tool for breast cancer,â Julie Laughner said. She is the chief technician for imaging at Kane Community Hospital and is the âleadâ mammographer.
