SMETHPORT – There are four candidates in Tuesday's election for three seats on the McKean County Board of Commissioners.
Incumbents who are seeking re-election include Republican Joe DeMott of Port Allegany, Republican Al Pingie of Bradford Township and Democrat Judy Church of Smethport. The challenger is Democrat Cliff Lane of Annin Township, a former county commissioner.
Voters will be asked to cast ballots for two of the four candidates. The top three vote-getters will comprise the new county Board of Commissioners.
