A ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon marks the move of the Kane Community Hospital's Home Health Care program to an office building at 198 N. Fraley St.
The site is on the east side of Fraley Street (Route 6) opposite the former Shady Point Restaurant.
"Our new location will give us better visibility and curb appeal," Gary Rhodes said. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the hospital and vice president of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Hamot.
The Kane hospital is the first affiliate of the Hamot Medical Center in Erie. Hamot now is part of UPMC.

A Kane man has waived his preliminary hearing in Kane District Court on a burglary charge, which is a felony.
John Derrick Morrison, 28, of 7031 Route 6 Kane, allegedly broke the rear door of a residence at 333 Chase St., Apt. 1, Kane, to gain entry.
Maranda Ackley, who lives at the residence, told police the defendant was "not welcome there," court documents show.
Morrison had been sent to the county jail, but now is free on $25,000 (unsecured) bail pending his appearance in McKean County Court.
Kane Police Officer Bill Nichols placed the charges.
