CLARION COUNTY — Clarion-based Pennsylvania State Police have reported that a 19-year-old woman reported missing over the weekend was found deceased inside her vehicle — which she was last seen driving Friday evening — Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
PSP report that the victim, Devan C. Knapp of Brookville, was discovered in the vehicle along Summerville Drive in Millcreek Township, Clarion County, by a passerby. Members of PSP-Clarion and PSP-Punxsy reported to the scene.Â
The incident remains under open investigation, with an autopsy to be conducted at a date and time yet to be determined.
The body of missing Brookville teen Devan C. Knapp, 19, was reportedly located earlier this morning in Millcreek Township, Clarion County. A group known as the "Concerned Citizens of Kane" formed about a year ago after the borough council proposed a hefty property tax hike.
The tax increase was reduced, but dedicated members of the "citizens" group each month show up at council meetings to question spending and borough operations.
