A Clarion psychiatrist, indicted by a state grand jury on 35 felony charges, is accused of operating his Kane clinic without a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit.
ST. MARYS â John Hanger, a Democratic candidate for governor, stopped at the Green Lite Restaurant and Lounge on Brusselles Street on Thursday afternoon as he traveled through the area on his Save Our Schools Bus Tour.

The Kane Borough Councilâs finance committee held a public input meeting on Tuesday evening at the Kane Borough building to listen to suggestions from Kane citizens concerning the 2014 budget.

With 3,000 visitors to the St. Marys Municipal Airport's inaugural American Spirit Aviation Festival last year, Alan McPherson, airport manager, is hoping to continue the successful event again this year.
"We had more people than we actually expected," McPherson said of the large crowd. "We want to thank all of Elk County for turning out for the event. They really came out to support us and it was a great thing."
