Kane council to seek bids for paving streets

The Kane Borough Council agreed Monday to seek bids for the paving of sections of four borough streets.

Guy Raught resigns as Hamlin Twp. supervisor

HAZEL HURST – Guy Raught of Hazel Hurst has resigned as a member of the Hamlin Township Board of Supervisors.
He submitted his letter of resignation Monday at a board meeting at the township building in Hazel Hurst. The resignation is effective today.

Library Fund Drive continues

Steve Timpano recently presented a check to Bill Bloom, a longtime volunteer and current member of Friends’ Memorial Public Library Board of Directors, for the Library’s annual fund drive.
Steve is the president of the Kane Lions Club, which has always been extremely generous, not only to the library, but to many other organizations and needy individuals in Kane and the surrounding area.
