The Kane Elementary School held their annual Christmas program on Friday afternoon. Kindergarden students in the Kane Area School District entertained a large crowd with a variety of holiday numbers. Members of the Kane Class of 2025 are pictured as they performed Christmas carols.

The Kane Wolvesâ€™ boys basketball team opened the regular season on Wednesday night in the Wolvesâ€™ Den against the Sheffield Wolverines. Coach Brian Wymerâ€™s Wolves were dialing long distance all night, as they converted nine three-point baskets to help them on their way to a 63-50 win.

LANTZ CORNERS â€“ The McKean County Planning Commission met Tuesday and approved the consolidation of three parcels into one upon which will be built a Nittany Minit Mart. The parcels, owned by Tetons LLC, of Curtisville, will be leased by Nittany for a 25-year period, and is located near the intersection of Route 219 and Route 6 in Lantz Corners.

HAZEL HURST â€“ The McKean County Planning Commission may be ready to act today to approve a proposed Nittany Minit Mart at Routes 6 and 219 at Lantz Corners, Hamlin Township.
