Leadership shuffle in Wetmore Township

WETMORE TWP. – There was a shuffle in leadership at Monday evening’s Wetmore Township reorganizational meeting. Prior to the regular monthly meeting, supervisors Steve Dyne, Bill Ryding and Elaine Bodistow held the annual required reorganizational meeting.

MacDonald welcomed as new president of ECCSS

ST. MARYS – A special meet-and-greet was held at Elk County Catholic High School on Sunday evening to welcome newly appointed Elk County Catholic School System (ECCSS) President Sam MacDonald.
MacDonald takes over the role from interim president Mary Agnes Marshall, and is the school system's second president, filling the position vacated by Fr. Michael Ferrick.

"We're at 72 percent of our goal of $38,000," United Fund Board President Jennifer Macey said. "We need more help from our residents and businesses to reach our goal."

HAZEL HURST – A dispute has developed over the selection of a new secretary-treasurer for Hamlin Township.
The township Board of Supervisors acted at a special meeting Monday to hire Nicole L. "Nickie" Wheatley Causer of Hazel Hurst for the position.
