MT. JEWETT â A massive 12-point buck took first place Monday evening in the 47th annual Big Buck Contest at the Mt. Jewett Sportsman's Club.
Kirk Kossack of Smethport shot the big buck near Smethport. The rack has an inside spread of 18 inches and an outside spread of 20.25 inches.
The Kane Fish and Game Club held their annual Big Buck Contest on Monday night at their clubhouse on Dwightâs Road. Eight hunters entered the contest, which was held during a steady drizzle that turned to snow by the end of the night.
