Haunted Scare Chamber to open Saturday and Wednesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kane Eagles Club. The event will be filled with scary displays. The entrance will be off of Bayard Street.
The 5-3 Kane Wolves host the 3-5 Coudersport Falcons on Friday night in the final regular season game for both squads. Kane coach Todd Silfies, however, says to throw out the records, as both teams are playing for a lot more than a win on Friday night.

Mike London, athletic director of Kane Area School District, announced that a meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25 for qualifying athletes to order their Kane Wolves varsity jacket. The meeting will be held in Room 108 during fifth period.
Athletes who have lettered at least two years in one sport or one year in at least two sports are eligible to purchase a jacket. A deposit of $60 must accompany the order. The deposit may be made by check payable to the Kane High School Athletic Association or by cash.

For each test drive, $20 will be donated to our community charity and development projects. JOHSONBURG â On Wednesday, Oct. 17 students from St. Marys Catholic Elementary, Johnsonburg Elementary and Kane Elementary participated in the Forest Awareness Program and toured the Pennsylvania Woodmobile at the Johnsonburg Fire Hall. The Allegheny Hardwood Utilization Group (AHUG) and the Pennsylvania Hardwood Development Council (HDC) brings the programs to the region.
The Kane School Board held a reception last week to welcome the new staff members in the school district.
