Mae J. Miller, 85, of 5034 Highland Rd., near Kane, died Saturday evening, July 16, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie following a brief illness.
Born March 5, 1926 in Kane, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Ruby M. Nystrom Hadfield. In 1947, she married Cyril Gabriel, who died in 1964; and in 1972, she married Earl Miller, who also preceded her in death.
A 1944 graduate of Kane Area High School, Mrs. Miller was a clerk at the former A&P store in Kane for over 30 years, and later for the Quick Stop Market for over 20 years.
