Ruth B. Ross, 100, formerly of Burning Well Road, Kane, died Sunday evening, Aug. 21, 2011 at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born Sept. 18, 1910 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah McClure Buchanan. In November of 1942, she married Howard Ross, who died in 1966.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ross was a member of the Mt. Jewett United Methodist Church, where she played piano for many years. She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in Mt. Jewett and the Order of the Amaranth.
