Edward L. Johnson, 89, of 32 Sleepy Hollow Rd., died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Oct. 25, 1921, in Sergeant, he was a son of Fred and Nora (Johnson) Johnson. On Dec. 5, 1953, in Kane, he married Patricia Bouch who survives.
Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Before his retirement, he was employed by Stackpole.
He was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed working in the garden, walking in the woods and polka music. He also played the accordion and several other instruments.
Larry B. Beimel, 64, of Pottstown, and formerly of St. Marys, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011.
He was born on March 5, 1947 in St. Marys, a son of the late Romaine "Shorty" and Mary Chere Beimel.
Larry attended St. Marys schools and had lived in Pottstown for the past several years. Years ago he had worked at
Pure Carbon Company. He enjoyed playing his guitar.Â
