George E. Petrisek, 75, of Genesee, formerly of Port Allegany, died unexpectedly at home on Aug. 5, 2011. A celebration of George's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 in the VFW Hall, 4743 Route 155, Port Allegany. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Star Hose Fire Company, 65 W. Maple St., Port Allegany. Memorials may be made to the S. W. Doris J. Williams, 80, a resident of Golden Living-Kinzua, Warren, died there Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 after an extended illness.
She was born March 31, 1931 in Wellsville, N.Y. to the late Walter P. and Ruth Carr Hand. She has resided in Kane for the past 10 years. Doris loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed country music, NASCAR and having friends and family visit her.
