Gerald N. "Jerry" Kilmer, 66, of 220 Haines St., Kane, died Monday afternoon, Nov. 28, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
Born Aug. 12, 1945 in Kane, he was the son of William and Sis Croyle Kilmer.Â
After serving as an Air Policeman in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, Mr. Kilmer worked for National Fuel for nearly 27 years.Â He was a member of the American Legion / VFW in Mt. Jewett as well as the Wilcox Sportsman's Club.

Rose M. Cedar, 78,Â formerly of 113 Euclid Ave., passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 17, 1932, in upstate New York, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Zlosel) Bradley.
In 1953, she married Warren Ellsworth Cedar who preceded her in death.
She attended schools in Kane.Â
She worked at The Harvest House in The Bradford Mall, Perkins Restaurant and Corning Glass.Â She then worked for Zippo Manufacturing, from where she retired in January of 1998.
Anna R. Johnson, 88, a long-time resident of James City, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 27, 2011 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Dec. 6, 1922 in James City, she was the daughter of Garland and Barbara Maze Haight.Â She was married to Robert Reigel, who died in 1945; then to Edward Bergstrom, who died in 1986;Â and finallyÂ to Melvin Johnson, who died in 1996.
A homemaker, she was a member of the former Assembly of God in James City, where she was the pianist and taught Sunday School.
Kim S. Brown, 54, of Kane,, formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian Medical Center, Pittsburgh.
Kim was born Sept. 25, 1957 in Jamestown, N.Y., and was the daughter of Richard S. Keyes of Jamestown, N.Y. and the late Beverly J. Keyes; mother of Kevin Brown of Kane; sister ofÂ Pamela (Jeffrey) Curtis of Panama, N.Y. and Wendy (Burnett, Jr.) Bartley ofÂ Pittsburgh; aunt of Lucas and Joshua Curtis, and Timothy Vogler.
Julia M. Montgomery, 100, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Dec. 24, 1910, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Scuro Montour.
Mrs. Montgomery had been employed at various times at Holgates, Houston Electronics, and the former Market Basket. She was a graduate of the Kane High School Class of 1930.
As a Volunteer, she worked at many places, including the American Red Cross Blood Bank, the Lutheran Home at Kane, the Community Hospital Gift Shop and the Meals on Wheels program.
Keith William Newton, II, 66, of Midland, previously of Titusville and Kane, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.Â
He was born on July 1, 1945 in Titusville to the late Dorothy (Bauer) Reynolds. He graduated from Titusville High School in 1963.
Julia M. Montgomery, 100, formerly of 130 Greeves St., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.

Anna M. Holquist, 81, of 126 Pine Ave., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at Kane Community Hospital.
Born March 10, 1930, in Jane Lew, W. Va., she was a daughter of Horace Brannen and Ruby Susan Hall Foster.Â On Jan. 10, 1976, in Kane, she married Lawrence Holquist who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Holquist attended business college and worked in the office of Dr. Charles Bentz as an insurance billing secretary. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and belonged to the Eastern Star.
William Murray Becker, beloved husband, passed away Nov. 2, 2011, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va.
Mr. Becker was born Feb. 6, 1927 in Geneva, New York, the son of the late Edward F. Becker and Cecelia Murray Becker.
