Evelyn L. Strawcutter, 96, formerly of 109 Clay St. in Kane, died Thursday afternoon, Jan. 5, 2012 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born May 16, 1915 in Brookville, she was the daughter of Harvey H. and Florence V. Farrell McManigle. On Feb. 5, 1933, she married Ray E. Strawcutter, who died in 1954.
Mrs. Strawcutter was a dietary manager at the Kane Community Hospital for over 30 years.Â
She was a member of Tabor Ev. Lutheran Church in Kane, the Order of the Eastern Star, and belonged to the Mountain Grange #1307 in Kane for over fifty years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
