Harold C. Weaver, age 86, of Fairview, passed away on May 7, 2012, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.Â
He was born in Williamsport on May 13, 1925, the son of the late Charles and Laura Barner Weaver.
Harold was proud to have served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Third Class Signalman. On D-Day he was on LCI, #499 transporting troops to Sword Beach. He received the American and European Theatre Awards, the Medal of the Jubilee of Liberty and good conduct awards.Â
